What this lookup does not tell you
- Whether a good is legally covered. Scope under Annex I, its exclusions, and exemptions that depend on origin are questions for the regulation. Appearing in the published values is not the same as being liable, and being absent is not the same as being exempt.
- Whether you owe anything. That depends on your annual volume across all covered goods, your origin and your import period.
- Your classification. Getting the CN code right is the importer's responsibility and a customs question.
An earlier version of this page listed ferrous and aluminium scrap as covered. Annex I does not support that, and the table it came from has been removed rather than corrected.
